ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY

PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS FREE SERVICE TO THROW AWAY ANY UNWANTED ITEMS AND KEEP YOUR PROPERTY LOOKING NEAT AND CLEAN. THIS SERVICE IS FOR CITY CUSTOMERS ONLY.
Three roll-offs will be located at the City yard on East Pioneer Street across from RS Cemetery.
Gates will open at 8 am to 5 pm. Gates will close when roll-offs are full. There will be a City employee on site to help unload items.
Cleaning of property will reduce vandalism and prevent fires. Lots that are cluttered with debris are also a health and safety hazard.
Once you have your property cleaned and looking good, ask your neighbor if you could help them. If we all work together, Rising Star will stay a beautiful place.
If you are elderly or disabled and need assistance on items you need to go to roll-offs, please call City Hall at 254-643-4261, and have your name added to the list, at that time the City will determine your eligibility. Items will need to be curb side. The City will pick up your items between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 am only. For any questions, please call 254-643-4261.

tires , batteries, oil or oil filters, chemicals of any kind, antifreeze, pesticides or herbicides, paints, thinners, dead animals, liquids, drums, sludge, untreated waste, contaminated soils.

CITY OF RISING STAR OFFERS ONLINE BILL PAY.CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PLATFORM
The City of Rising Star has transitioned to a new credit card platform which will allow customers to pay their City of Rising Star Utility bills online and also pay Municipal Court citations.
The new platform will create a new credit card service fee to the customer and is set by the new provider. The fee when paying online will be 3.5% with a .95 minimum for all Utility payments and when paying online Municipal Court tickets will be 6.5% with a 3.95 minimum.
Online bill pay can be assessed by pc, tablet, or mobile device at:
